A round-up of the injury news in the week leading to the first game of the new season against Crewe at Gresty Road on Saturday, following the games in Austria.
Following a slight injury to Michael Duff against PAOK Salonika, Steve Cotterill hopes Duff can make a return to training this week in preparation for the league game against Crewe. The defender hurt his knee in a friendly against PAOK Salonika in Austria.
Wade Elliott looks set to play after only being taken off the game against SV Wacker-Burghausen in Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting as a precaution.
Danny Karbassiyoon is to undergo a scan on his injury after only being able to play against Cheltenham. The injury looked to be getting better during the week, the 20-year old had to limp out of training though in agony as the pain from the injury returned. He will have a scan tomorrow and see a specialist on Thursday to assess the injury.
