Burnley 0 - 0 Malaga

Burnley took on Spanish La Liga side CF Malaga yesterday afternoon in a game that ended 0-0 in our only home friendly game of the close season.

After a game which left Claret's fans looking forward to the new season at Accrington, all eyes would once again be on the new signings and triallist Artim Sakiri.

Wade Elliott continued to impress in the first half with some good runs but the man of the match had to be Micah Hyde, despite missing out at Accrington, he had a great game at Cheltenham and once again took control of the midfield in this game.

While Sakiri might not be able to make it to Malaga, he once again had a good game and if signed, should make an excellent addition to the squad.

Our next match is on Tuesday evening, in the first of two games in Austria against PAOK Salonika in Abtenau. This is a team where former Burnley goalkeeper, Nick Mi(c)hopoulous, is the goalkeeping coach.
