Clarets youngster Matt O'Neill has gone to neighbours Accrington Stanley on a one month loan deal. The 20 year old winger, a product of the Centre of Excellence has struggled to make an impact on the first team stage.
This how Accrington Stanley announced the deal:
"Stanley have signed Burnley's Matthew O'Neill on a one month loan deal. The 20 year old Accrington born winger can play on both sides of the field and is a product of the Claret's Centre of Excellence. He signed a professional contract at the start of last season and was kept on for a further 12 months at the start of this season. He has made 2 first team starts and 11 substitute appearances for the Coca Cola Championship side, and will be available for our match against Halifax Town on Tuesday evening."
