Burnley Vs. Reading

The Clarets face Reading at Turf Moor today in only their second match of the new year. The problem area of the pitch has been relaid and former Clarets winger Glen Little makes a welcome return to Turf Moor.

The Clarets have a number of possible injuries. Captain Frank Sinclair, Danny Coyne, Jean Louis Valois and Michael Duff are all doubts, while Micah Hyde is serving a one match suspension for picking up five yellow cards. However Richard Chaplow is expected to deputise.

Reading's new signing Les Ferdinand, a target for Steve Cotterill will not be playing. He picked up a slight injury in their FA Cup encounter with Swansea City.

The match kicks off at 3pm at Turf Moor.
