Burnley will have Richard Chaplow on the bench for Saturday's game with Sunderland. The England U-21's International made a shock return to training this week and is available for the game.

Jean-Louis Valois and John McGreal are expected to be the players returning from injury. Cotterill is expected to rest Lee Roche and put Valois in the first team, and replace the suspended Frank Sinclair with John McGreal.
