The Clarets Trust was officially launched on Saturday, after the Crewe game, in the James Hargreaves Stand. The night proved to be extremely successful and is the start of something very exiciting for Burnley supporters.

The events started in the Foundation Bar where Alistair Campbell and Tony Livesey held a quiz. The 5-a-side match took place after the quiz had ended with the team of Ex-Clarets beating the supporters by a comfortable margin.

The official launch took place after the match had finished in the James Hargreaves Stand. Jeff Brown was hosting the event and the event got off to an excellent start when 4 people were made Vice-Presidents of the Trust. All 4 people have very strong connections and it was pleasing that Margaret Potts, Brian Miller, Martin Dobson and Willie Irvine were named.

The Trust was then declared open for business and hordes of Clarets have now signed up to the Trust, any fan is welcome to join and with prices starting at just £5 for Juniors it really is an opportunity not to be missed. To join please click here

The Clarets Trust website is now operational and can be found on a permanent basis in our links section.
