Steve Cotterill is tonight celebrating his first league victory in charge of the Clarets. One goal in the second half was enough to give Burnley the 3 points.

Our rock solid defence continues its excellent form and this result means we've only conceded one goal in 3 games.

The team was exactly the same as the previous 2 games and lined up roughly as followed:-

Robbie Blake and Graham Branch both had chances in an unlively first half before Ian Moore scored his first goal of the season in the 2nd half. Robbie Blake broke through the Watford defence but saw his shot saved by Lee however the ball bounced kindly for Ian Moore who headed into the net.

Both Blake and Moore could have added to the scoreline but the one goal was enough to see the home team booed off the pitch whilst the 1,000 or so Burnley fans celebrated the points.
