Burnley have 5 games left this season and it is still in our own hands what division we will be in next season. We are 1 point above the relegation zone with a game inhand on the other teams around us.
| Burnley | Derby | |
|---|---|---|
| Cardiff (A) | Preston (H) | |
| Wimbledon (H) | Burnley (A) | |
| Derby (H) | Rotherham (A) | |
| Rotherham (A) | Franchise (A) | |
| Sunderland (H) |
| Gillingham | Rotherham | |
|---|---|---|
| Ipswich (H) | Watford (H) | |
| Franchise (H) | Coventry (A) | |
| Coventry (H) | Burnley (H) | |
| Stoke City (A) | Walsall (A) |
| Walsall | Watford | |
|---|---|---|
| Norwich (A) | Rotherham (A) | |
| Sheff. Utd (H) | Millwall (A) | |
| C. Palace (A) | Norwich (H) | |
| Rotherham (H) | West Ham (A) | |
| Reading (H) |
We have now discounted Crewe and Nottingham Forest as we believe they have done just about enough to avoid relegation. Ourselves, Derby and Gillingham have all got Franchise to play and should either one of us slip up then you would think it could cost the relevant side their place in the 1st Division. Walsall who probably needed to beat us to ensure their survival look the best bet for the drop with them going to Carrow Road on Saturday before playing two play-off chasing sides Sheffield United and Crystal Palace. Their last game of the season against Rotherham could decide the final relegation place.
