As well as trying to raise funds to invest in the club, in some instances Trusts have also been able to gain additional grant funding which the club would not be able to obtain on their own.

There are clear recommendations that the cost of annual membership to a Supporters' Trust should be no more than the average cost of a ticket for a home game.

Yes – and in addition, concession membership would be available to OAPs, students and minors (although as Trusts are legal entities, only those over 16 would be permitted to vote.)

Should a Trust be established at Burnley, there will be a requirement for volunteers to offer their various skills and services to run the organisation. There have already been positive discussions with the club and with supporters groups, who have been extremely positive about the potential for the establishment of a Supporters’ Trust.
