Over the last few weeks there has been numerous changes on the managerial front within the Division. One post was sorted out today but another one may soon be about to be opened. The job that has been solved is the one at Millwall where caretaker boss Dennis Wise has been installed as the full time boss until the end of next season, Ray Wilkins who has been helping Wise will take the assistant managers job.

The duo took over at Millwall last month after the sacking of Mark McGhee and have guided the side to two wins and a draw in their four games in charge.

Lions chairman Theo Paphitis believes the pair are the right team to guide Millwall to success.

"I'm pleased with the appointment, it maintains continuity and allows us to continue with our stated aim of promotion to the Premiership," Paphitis told the club's official website.

"Dennis and Ray are both here until the end of next season, with Dennis also remaining a player for that period of time."

Bradford City, who sacked Nicky Law on Saturday, haven't yet announced who their new manager will be, with reports in Yorkshire suggesting that former manager Chris Kamara is favourite for the job. It is also understood that Ex-Rangers manager Walter Smith and the former Middlesbrough manager Bryan Robson have expressed an interest in the post.

Kit Symons was recently appointed caretake boss at Crystal Palace just before the weekends game against Preston. He also brought with him former Sotuhampton manager Stuart Gray. The Eagles drew with North End on Saturday and if they continue to pick up points then its more than likely Symons will be offered the role on a permenant basis.

The sacking of Peter Reid yesterday made all the headlines and the club have today put Eddie Gray in temporary charge. The bookies however don't think that Gray will be in charge for long and have made current Nottingham Forest manager Paul Hart clear favourite. Hart who has had a stint at the Elland Road club when he was the Academy Director for four years during the 90's. Hart has denied that Leeds have made an approach although he didn't rule out a move, this appointment would prove interesting as he has been under attack recently from both fans and his own chairman who said money would be available for the manager once the club where in a competitive position in the league.

Another man who's been linked to the job is Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock who also said the club had not apporached him although he too didn't rule out the possibility of leaving the Blades. If either manager was appointed then it would mean yet another First Division club would be looking for a manager.
