Its all change again in the Nationwide Divison 1 with new leaders and another club sacking their manager. West Brom are the new leaders and Bradford are the latest club searching for a manager. The game of the day took place at Upton Park where West Ham took a 3 goal lead over West Brom inside the first 20 minutes with two goals from new signing Brian Deane and one from Jermaine Defoe before Defoe was given his marching orders for a foul on Sean Gregan just before half time. Albion staged an incredible comeback with 2 goals from Rob Hulse, an own goal from Brian Deane and a Lee Hughes winner meant the West Brom were back at the top of the table and are now 7 points clear of West Ham.

They go top because Wigan suffered a second successive defeat away from home going down to a sole goal from Hughes against Reading.

Sheffield United are now upto 2nd due to Wigan's slip up and hot on their heels are Norwich who maintain their incredible run of winning every game at Home this season, On Saturday they beat Millwall 3-1.

Sunderland drop to 5th after a goaless draw against Coventry at the Stadium of Light. Ipswich are now on level points with West Ham after a 2-2 draw at Derby.

Cardiff maintain their recent good run with a 3-1 victory over struggling Stoke at Ninian Park. Rob Earnshaw gave the BLuebirds the lead before Stoke levelled thanks to a Kris Commons goal but the Welshmen proved too strong and another Earnshaw goal followed by Danny Gabbidon strike was enough to settle the match.

Managerless Crystal Palace drew 1-1 with improving Preston with both the goals coming in the second half of a drab game. Nottingham Forest were on their way to a victory over Watford until Lee Cook scored his first senior goal just five mintues from time after Eugen Bopp had given Forest the lead.

Gillingham beat Crewe 2-0 at the Priestfield Stadium. Rotherham beat Franchise 3-1 at Millmoor to put more distance between the two sides.

Finally the game at Bradford was the last for Nicky Law as manager. Law had spoken out this week ,at claims that Stuart McCall was being lined up to take his job, saying that rumours were nonsense and he din't haven't have the experience to manage a club like Bradford, well he may get the chance after a 1-1 draw against Walsall was the enough for the Bradford board to terminate Law's contract at the club.
