Braces from Benson and Zaroury secure Clarets' spot in fourth round Burnley booked their place in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round with an astounding 4-2 victory against Premier League side AFC Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon at the Vitality Stadium.

 Manuel Benson opened the scoring early on, before Ryan Christie equalised just five minutes later, but a quick-fire double from Anass Zaroury just before half time gave the Clarets a two-goal lead at the break.

 Dom Solanke then pulled a goal back for the Cherries early on in the second half, but Benson then grabbed his second goal of the tie just before the hour mark to seal the victory on a wet & windy afternoon on the coast.

 Manager Vincent Kompany made five changes from the side that beat Swansea City 2-1 on Monday, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Charlie Taylor, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Ashley Barnes, and Manuel Benson coming into the XI on the south coast.

Not sure we really need a cup run but hey why not keep the results coming, squad is surely big enough to handle it. Bernson and Zaroury once again playing exceptionally well.
Well done Clarets (Sm152) 4th Round here we come draw is on Monday

I was hoping VK would have made more changes than he did.
He might wish he'd started with Mcnally instead of THB now.
I'd like to have seen Bastien, Darko, CJ & Twine to have been given a start as well.

Ashley played a key role imo, less blood and thunder more reading of the game and supporting those with the legs
