Brownhill’s first goal on home turf earns Clarets draw against Hatters Burnley came back from behind to earn a point in their first home game of the Sky Bet Championship season with a 1-1 draw against Luton Town.

 Dan Potts had handed the visitors an early lead before Josh Brownhill netted a well-taken leveller six minutes after the restart, scoring his first-ever goal at Turf Moor in the process.

 Boss Vincent Kompany stuck with the same starting lineup from the opening game win at Huddersfield Town, with newest recruit Manuel Benson named on the bench in place of Scott Twine.

 Luton manager Nathan Jones meanwhile made just one change from their goalless draw at home Birmingham City last time out. Harry Cornick came into the side with summer signing Carlton Morris dropping to the bench.

 Last season’s Play-off semi-finalists also welcomed Luke Berry and Reece Burke onto their substitutes list with Dion Pereira and veteran striker Cameron Jerome dropping out of the matchday squad.

Luton were a bit too physical for us, good goal from Brownhill, a point rescued from this one.

Watford up next on Friday night.
