Howieson Joy At World Cup Call

Clarets teenager Cameron Howieson admits his first call up to the senior New Zealand squad has come as an unexpected surprise following a whirlwind few months in his fledgling career.

Less than a year after joining Burnley's youth set up and only seven weeks after signing his first professional contract, Howieson has been fast tracked into the All Whites squad for two warm up games in the United States and then the next phase of their qualifying bid for the 2014 World Cup finals.
