Changes in the Pirates starting XV sees Ben Cambriani selected on the wing with Harry Yates moving to centre in place Joe Elderkin, who was shown a 20-minute red card last weekend.
Matt Cannon will partner Josh King in the second row, with his ‘6’ shirt to be worn by Rory Suttor, a replacement last week who will be making his first league start.

On the bench Milo Hallam, who started at lock against Hartpury, fills a gap left by Suttor, and prop James French takes the place of Ollie Andrews.

This will be a tough game against an Ampthill side now coached by ex-pirate Dave Ward.
They will be full of confidence after last weeks win against Cambridge.

Ampthill 26 Pirates 21
A very disappointing performance from the pirates as we lost for the first time at Ampthill.
A couple of missed tackles and a failure to turn periods of possession in their 22 was the difference between the teams.
A big week in training ahead of the visit of Doncaster next Saturday.

Not quite gelling at the moment. Hopefully the performances will improve with more games under their belts.

Still a new team developing and given time will become better. I was attending this match originally but the dreaded flu(Man Flu) took me out.
