Unbelievable effort by the pirates to turn around a half time deficit to run out worthy winners in front of a crowd of 2300 in the sunshine at the Mennaye.
The foundations were laid by a terrific performance by the pack who had the upper hand in the scrum and driving maul.
Some of our line out defence was outstanding and kept us in the game as Coventry laid siege to our line at the end of the first half.
It was fantastic to hear the Mennaye crowd roaring the boys on as they eventually got on top of a quality Coventry side.
Huge congratulations to all of the squad, coaches and backroom staff who have made this a very enjoyable season.
Enjoy the rest week and let's finish the season off in style at London Scottish.

Agree with P15 that was an awesome effort against a very good Coventry team who had won 7 games in a row. The forwards were immense and the whole team defended superbly when we came under a lot of pressure. In the last 20 minutes the forwards completely dominated the Cov pack and The Pirates deservedly took the spoils.
This has been our best season for a few years in my opinion and the coaches have done an amazing job gelling these boys into a formidable unit.
It's clear to see the strong bond they have between them and their lovely rapport with the supporters.
