We should all be very proud of what this group of players, coaches and support staff have achieved.

Thats the best league table I've ever seen, brilliant achievement to everyone involved at the Pirates, players, admin, coaches, backroom boys and girls, ground staff and match day marshalls, and last but by no means least the wonderful Dicky Evans who without his relentless support and love of the club and Cornwall none of this would have been possible. To all who will be leaving us at this time of year a massive thank you and good luck in your future endeavours. To all those remaining, here's to a welcome break and see you on your return. To those still to arrive welcome to the Pirates family. The standard has been laid this season so no pressure for next season!!!
Ditto all of the above. I note that we have the best defensive record in the league proving the adage that "Defence Wins Games". Our defence , on the whole, has been awesome this season. Long may it continue.

It shows the commitment and team spirit within the group - of course you have to have your systems for defence, but then you have to have the heart and desire to put bodies on the line and get off the floor and get into position to make another tackle.
Add to that the solid line out and scrum which Paves and Louie have created and it makes you very difficult to beat.
The bonus on top of that is that we have some genuine pace and class in the backs and we have the ingredients for a very successful team.
This has been the best and most enjoyable season for a few years. We've signed a good core of this team for next season, although we're losing some very experienced top class players too.
Hopefully we can fill the gaps left by the likes of Moyler, Marlen, Jack, Alex, Ruaridh, Steele etc and produce a similar team for next season.
