Time again for something to keep Sportnetwork happy and keep this site running.

Last week the big story was the news of The Cornish Pirates purchase of Truro City FC and judging by comments on Social Media there is almost unanimous support for the deal from the fans of both clubs.

This is surely excellent news on many fronts, not least the Stadium and opens a new chapter in the history of both clubs.

Fast forward to Sunday, and on a blustery showery day, the boys couldn’t quite find that killer touch, but all credit to Jersey for the resolute defence that enabled them to take the spoils at 7-8.

Yet once again another bonus point, bringing the tally to 17 and keeping us in 5th place, 3 points behind Bedford 5 ahead of Nottingham.

Some tough games to come in the run up to the end of season, but spring is in the air and it’s all to play for.
