Dundee United Defender Jim Lauchlan Will Not Be Pffered A New Contract At The End Of The Season And Stricker Jim Hamilton Has Already Been Showen The Door Dundee United boss Ian McCall has told defender Jim Lauchlan his services will not be required at the end of the season.

But the Tannadice manager admits it was a wrench to let the former Kilmarnock man know of his decision.

McCall said: "I would like to say that Jim Lauchlan, in particular, has shown an exceptional attitude and I know that if I have to call on him between now and the end of the season he will give his all."

Tannadice Boss Ian McCall also announced the departure of Jim Hamilton on free transfer yesterday.

Hamilton whos Dundee United carrer was damaged by magor injury problems agreed a setlement with McCall and derparted premasis for the last time a United Player.
