Hibernians Boss Bobby Williamson is upset with some controversial decisions made during Hibs visit to Tannadice Bobby Williamson pointed to several incidents which denied his Hibs side at least a point against Dundee United.

A controversial second goal for United and a late penalty claim from Hibs were the deciding factors in the home sides's narrow 2-1 victory.

Williamson said: "I thought we were hard done by, although United could probably say the same about the game which we won here two weeks ago.''

He added: "I thought it was a penalty when Paco Luna was brought down in the box at 2-1. Maybe I've got my green glasses on but I don't understand why he went down if he hadn't been impeded.

"I would need to see it again on television, although I'm not raging or angry or irritated by the referee's decision, he made it and that's it.

"I also felt their second goal was offside, although they scored one earlier which could have been given. But the decisions went against us and we've lost the game."

Alex Smith said: "The goal we didn't get was strange because their defender played it towards his own goal. But the linesman said Steven Thompson was offside, although I'm not sure if he was active or passive.

"As for the second goal, that could have been offside. It was a good cross from the right and Charlie Miller and Steven Thompson both had attempts at the ball before it landed and Derek Lilley, whether he was offside or not at that point, I don't know.

"As regards the penalty incident, I thought our defender Jim Lauchlan was caught before he cleared the ball. But I have to say I don't understand why their player went down if he wasn't touched because he was beyond our defender."
