It seems like a lot of fans want Millwall to turn into a Crewe in terms of blooding young players. The only problem is the supporters want immediate success, so they should be aware that this policy takes time before it delivers. Wisey may be right in requesting a top quality left back if we want to make the play-offs this season.

Lots of other clubs in our division are strengthening their squads, but we are not.

It must be immensely frustrating for Wisey, but as fans we also get frustrated as Dennis shows reluctance to use Tony Craig in that position.

Craig was recalled from Wycombe by Theo, presumably to apply pressure on Dennis to play the youngster.

But it seems as if Wisey doesn't fancy him much as a player.

As a manager, he's got every right to his opinion, even though we don't all agree with it.

And at least it shows Wisey picks the side and not the chairman or the incoming chairman.

But this club is full of rumours.

Not least of which was the rumour that McGhee used to fax his team sheet to the chairman for approval before matches.

That can't be happening now.

But what is happening is we're about to hound out a decent and improving young manager, if we're not careful.

We hounded out McGhee and suddenly he doesn't look so bad anymore, having achieved promtion with Brighton.

This club needs stability if it wants to be like Crewe.

Changing boss every one and a half year is hardly going to give us a platform for future success.

It might fill the column inches, but we want more than that don't we?

Sometimes you have to wonder.

It's high time the fans got behind the team. It's also time the chairman and incoming chairman got behind the manager. In short, it's time we all pulled together.

If not...well, it's not worth contemplating.
