According to sources close to the club, Millwall have missed on transfer targets Bobby Petta and Matt Hill. Petta was holding out for £8,000 per week, which was beyond what Millwall were prepared to pay. Preston North End have won the race to land Hill, so QPR and Millwall will now have to look elsewhere to bolster their respective squads.
