The Times doesn't seem too keen to report the facts on the Millwall v Liverpool tie. No suprise there, eh? Have a read of Phil Neal's quotes, and then look at how the "journalist" has put his own personal spin on it. Bill Edgar writes in the Times:

Phil Neal, the former Liverpool defender, who works as a charity co-ordinator for the families involved in the Hillsborough tragedy, was covering the game for local radio and said he was upset by what he heard from Millwall supporters.

“Seeing what happened tonight made me rather subdued,” he said at the time. “I had to apologise to my listeners because I did not say anything for about 20 minutes.”

Now, excuse me Bill. Did you notice that Phil said: "Seeing what happened"...he didn't use the word "hearing"! He was upset by the actions of the Liverpool supporters. You can't "see" chanting, unless you're a lip reader.

Bill Edgar, are you a journalist or what? Liars give the profession a bad name, so we hope you just made a genuine mistake.
