After raiding Arsenal to sign goalkeeper Graham Stack on a season-long loan deal, it looks as if Dennis Wise and Ray Wilkins may be set to pluck another starlet from Highbury. A deal does seem a long way off and probably a remote possibility but Millwall's interest has been confirmed. Arsenal's Icelandic starlet Olafur Ingi Skulason has revealed that Millwall have made enquiries about him.

He said: "Arsene Wenger has agreed that I'll be allowed to go on loan for the first part of the season and I'm happy to do that.

"There was some interest from Millwall."

Brescia and Torino seem to be in pole position to sign the 21-year-old midfielder, but there's also interest coming from Atalanta.

Arsenal would prefer the player to go to Beveren of Belgium (their feeder club) but Skulason would be reluctant to go there.

Millwall's enquiry may have been some weeks ago, as now they are understood to be scouring the market for more experienced players.
