Ever since Millwall's former Ireland Under 21 international left back Robbie Ryan turned down the offer of a one-year contract, rumours have been rife about where the FA Cup finalist will be plying his trade next season. According to Scottish sources, Ryan is being eyed by Hearts as a possible replacement for Alan Maybury - who apparently is set for a move back to England.

Despite the Ryan's local popularity, a recent poll revealed that Millwall fans thought he would be more likely to end up at a top lower division club rather than anywhere else.

A move to Scotland did not seem to be on agenda, at the time.
