Celtic and Arsenal legend Charlie Nicholas has recognised the undoubted ability of Millwall's Peter Sweeney. The young Lion came on as a substitute for Scotland's U21 side against their Republic of Ireland counterparts and earned deserved praise.
After the game, which Scotland lost 3-1, Nicholas said: "I like Sweeney, he looks comfortable on the ball."
The interesting thing is Sweeney was being deployed in central midfield, where his two-footedness really came to the fore.
He wriggled away from opponents with ease, spraying the ball about like a seasoned professional.
Not bad, given he's just 19 years of age!
