In what is turning into a bad week for Manchester United’s publicity department Lille chairman Michel Seydoux, has picked the perfect moment to accuse Manchester United of treating Lille ‘like sh*t’.
As the Roy Keene argument continues, on the what he said, what he didn’t say rollercoaster, MUTV must be wishing they had played it, they haven’t had this much publicity for, well just about ever.
And adding to it in an interview with France Football, which was most decidedly not pulled Seydoux stated:
"This club look upon us like sh*t. No one came to watch us before the first match. They thought they were going to stick a 3-0 on us.
"At the official reception, I heard people saying 'What is Lille, where is it? You don't have a stadium'. It was almost 'Oh, you're actually coming to play?' It was nearly that level of disdain."
