Newcastle winger turned down Liverpool

Ex Newcastle United and current Portsmouth winger Laurent Robert has claimed that he turned down the chance to move to European champions Liverpool in the summer, preferring instead a move to Portsmouth. Speaking to But, the controversial star stated:

"I know my worth.”
