Arturo Lupoli was the Arsenal's most prolific player in 2004/05, marking his first season at Arsenal with a remarkable tally of 27 goals in 32 games in all competitions. Nineteen of those came in Reserve League South as Arturo finished as
the country's top scorer at that level, but he also made his mark in
the first team.

The Italian striker showcased his clinical finishing with two goals
against Everton in the Carling Cup and also made his FA Cup debut in
the Fifth-Round replay at Sheffield United.

Lupoli finished 2nd top scorer in the reserve league behind Aston
Villa's Luke Moore.

He is also a member of the Italy under 19 team who were very
dissapointing in the UEFA U19 Championship Qualifiers. Playing in the
same group as Rep of Ireland and Northern Ireland and Moldova, it is
the 2 Irish sides that progressed. Italy were badly managed as they
failed to win a game and still only used Lupoli as a substitute.

Lupoli who was signed from Italian giants Parma in the summer of 2004
is good friends with Manchester United's Guissepe Rossi who he used to
parthner up front in he's days at Parma but there's no doubt that
Lupoli is a lot more talanted than Rossi.

He is another one of Arsene Wengers young promising players and might
replace the likes of Henry and Dennis Bergkamp in the near future...One
thing for sure he is good enough!
