Schalke 04 warned ‘no more excuses’

Schalke 04's coach Ralf Rangnick as warned his players that they have ran out of excuses for their poor on field performances, speaking after the 1-1 draw with Nuremberg the clearly furious coach stated: "I couldn't have imagined that they could play so badly."

"The time has come to forget the excuses. We must demand more from the players, who really must do their duty now."

It was Schalke 4th drawn game in a row, and leaves them 8 points adrift of Bayern after only six games, added to this was their defeat last week in the Champions league at the hands of PSV.

But the coach put the blame solely on his players saying:

"The players are miles away from their best form and that can't continue."

"They have to look at themselves and ask why that is."
