Bayern: Podolski swoop

After much speculation and especially with the involvement of Gerd Muller, who recommended new German international Lucas Podolski to them - Bayern have not signed the player. Rumours were abound last week that Bayern were going to table a 15m Euro offer for the striker.

It was further considered a possibility as Podolski and Schweinsteiger are friends and are coming through the national side at the same time. It is probably inevitable that Podolski will end up at Munchen in the near future.
