Arsenal are reportedly the mystery side bidding to land German youngster Marcel Jansen from Borussia Monchengladbach. The player confirmed that a club had bid for him telling the Rheinische Post:
“There’s an offer from a foreign club, but we won’t say which one.”
But the talk in Germany is it is Arsenal and with Arsenal legend Tony Adams watching Borussia Monchengladbach’s 1-1 draw with Wolfsburg over the weekend the German press are sure something is in the offing.
Jansen won’t come cheap though with a reported €15 million price tag on his head.
