Mourinho: Gerrard made wrong decision

José Mourinho claims that Steven Gerrard have made the wrong decision to stay at Liverpool. The Chelsea manager said he could have been part of a magic midfield along with Frank Lampard and Claude Makelele. "His decision to snub us for a stay with Liverpool will be a foolish decision", stated the controversial manager in The Times.

"The decision will be a loss for Chelsea and for Gerrard. But most for Gerrard because we have enough other options."

"Chelsea is a good and very well runned club. We will be soon one of the biggest clubs in the world."

"He can say 'I was European champion at Liverpool' and I have to say that is correct.

"But I can say to him in the next 10 years we will compare trophies at Chelsea and trophies at Liverpool. And he will lose."
