The Independent Manchester United Supporters’ Association are urging fans to boycott Manchester United’s Champions League qualifying tie, in a bid to force Malcolm Glazer from the club.
Spokesman Mark Longden stated:
"This boycott is the chance for them to show Glazer they do not want him or his debts."
“It’s simple - do not buy a ticket for this match. This is our chance to demonstrate to Glazer that supporters do have a voice and are prepared to use it.”
"He will keep targeting us to pay off his debts if he thinks we are weak and willing. We are neither.
"We react with horror at his plans for ticket prices, as more and more decent, loyal, United fans will be priced out of going to the club they love and support.
"We will not allow that to happen.
