Figo still dreaming of Liverpool

Portuguese midfielder Luis Figo has admitted that he is still hopeful of completing what he describes as a dream move to European Champions Liverpool. It was thought last week that a deal had been completed only for Real Madrid to suddenly demand cash for a player, when Liverpool thought they were negotiating a free transfer.

However Figo refuses to give up on the move stating:

“Playing for Liverpool is my dream. However, dreams not always come true, I am still waiting. However, I don’t understand; if I don’t fit anymore in the plans of Real Madrid, why don’t they just let me go?"
