Juve: No Chelsea Bid

Juventus yestarday revealed that Chelsea had made no official bid for star striker David Trezeguet.

Chelsea have been linked with a whole host of strikers that would strengthen thier front line next season, but no-one is yet to be signed.

Papers claimed that Chelsea offered a massive 55 million euros for the France forward but Juventus General Manager Luciano Moggi has quashed any rumours.

Moggi said:

"We never had any offer from Chelsea about Trezeguet,"

"The newspapers spoke about about €55 million, but that is the newspapers.

"Chelsea didn't offer us anything, and anyway Trezeguet is not for sale.

"He is 28 years old and we are very happy with him. He can still play at the level for a long time."
