Crespo to return to Chelsea

The arrival of Christian Vieri at AC Milan looks to have spelt the end of Hernan Crespo’s time there. Crespo was desperate to remain with Milan, but Chelsea were unable to agree a deal with the Italian giants and now it seems that Crespo has excepted that a return to London is inevitable. His agent Fernando Hidalgo stated:

"Hernan will play the next season with Chelsea."

"He wants to have as good a season as he had last year at Milan."

But Crespo will get a chance to stake a place under Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who’s Europe wide search for a striker have as yet come to nothing.
