Portsmouth shut Le Mouth

Portsmouth have ordered new Signing Laurent Robert to stop his attacks on Newcastle United manager Graeme Souness and concentrate on football. Chief executive Peter Storrie said:

"Players leave clubs in varying circumstances and regretfully they nearly always say something.

"I'm sure Alain Perrin will tell him to concentrate on Portsmouth."

"People should keep their opinions to themselves. I'm sure Laurent will do an awful lot of good for us.

"He's a terrific player who gives us all sort of options."

Robert was fines twice in two days by Newcastle United when he made the monumentally stupid decision of slagging them off while he was still technically a Newcastle player, while obviously in front of the queue when skill was handed out, he mustn’t have bothered with the intelligence queue at all.
