Barcelona prepare Chelsea swoop

Barcelona are getting ready to attempt to take Chelsea star William Gallas to the Nou Camp. Frank Rijkaard is a long time admirer of the player and sees him as the perfect foil for centre-back Carlos Puyol. His position at Chelsea is uncertain and it is thought that he would welcome the chance of a move. It would be Barca’s second signing after PSV midfielder Marc van Bommel on a free transfer.
