Le stripper whips it off for Bolton

Newcastle United’s Laurent Robert is about to sign for Bolton, according to the press. Part –time genius and occasional strip o gram, Robert has had a mixed time on Tyneside. Occasional moments of brilliance, followed by game after game of indifference, then the odd rant to the press thrown in for good measure.

He is though undoubtedly a player of talent and if Bolton can get the best out of him, they have a class player.

His agent Willie McKay confirmed the news to Skysports.com stating:

"Laurent is set to sign for Bolton on Monday subject to a medical."

"He is due to put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal and he is on the same deal he was on at Newcastle.

"Talks with Bolton have gone well and I expect a deal to be concluded.

"Sam Allardyce has always been an admirer of Laurent and wants to reunite him with Jay-Jay Okocha after their time together at Paris Saint Germain."

So all that remains to be seen is which Robert turns out for Bolton, the talented Frenchman, or the whingeing individual.

And of course whether he can keep his clothes on is anyone’s guess
