There has not been a shortage of players leaving this close season and Laurent Robert looks likely to be the next, after it was confirmed that the winger has held talks with Portsmouth over a potential move. Of course it’s no shock that Robert is leaving, after falling out with Graeme Souness and not being a regular player in the team, and the move to Portsmouth will give him the chance to link up with compatriot Alain Perrin.

As for Newcastle though, its time we started seeing some players heading in the door, otherwise the dressing room will be empty.
