Newcastle and Spurs in for Dutch star?

Ajax winger Daniel De Ridder could be on his way to England according to his representative Karel Jansen, with Newcastle and Spurs leading the charge for his signature. Despite signing a new contract with Ajax as late as December, he is looking to head out on loan for a season with England being touted as the perfect destination for the young star.

Spurs are understood to have contacted Ajax to see about his availability in January, and Newcastle boss Souness is a known admirer of the player.
