Arsenal admits Beckham interest.

Arsene Wenger admitted that he would try and sign David Beckham should the opportunity present itself in the summer, saying in the ‘News of the World’. "We will have some money to spend in the summer and if there was a chance to sign David Beckham, we would look at it.”

"If the situation arises that it is possible, why not?"

Beckham is constantly in the Spanish press linked with a move back to England, and despite protestations to the contrary, it is widely believed he will move back to the Premiership in the summer.

It is understood that if he does indeed return to England he prefers a switch to London, so it looks like Arsenal could stand a good chance of landing their man.
