Newcastle to turn to Strasbourg midfielder?

Newcastle United are allegedly interested in Strasbourg midfielder Yacine Abdessadki. He has already attracted interest from Spain and Souness is reportedly interested in bringing him to St James Park. Abdessadki who plays his international football for Morocco is out of contract in the summer an available on a free:

"I will leave," confirmed Abdessadki. "The talks to extend my contract have fallen through."

"I just know that I will not be at Strasbourg next season.”

"I have had contact with both French and foreign clubs.”

"I am thinking it about it now. I think I can still improve. So I will choose an ambitious club. “

"I want to learn about the European Cup."

He may be a possible target, but he is hardly the star name to get the fans excited on what has been up till now a fairly disappointing week for Newcastle fans.

Although with all the coming and going rumoured at Newcastle in the summer, he could just be a small part of it.
