Inter Milan may appeal against the UEFA order that they have to play four matches behind closed doors, announced Inter President Giacinto Facchetti:
“To be there to witness such an event was already a defeat, both from a sporting and psychological perspective.”
“It will be very sad to play Champions’ League games behind closed doors and it won’t be easy for the players to find the right motivation in that atmosphere.”
“We just hoped to make this defeat less bitter for us. We always hope to cut down the ban by as much as possible, but we have to look at the motivation UEFA’s Disciplinary Commission put in their statement.”
“I find that overseas they find it difficult to understand certain things about Italian football because they believe the security measures inside the stadium are organised by the clubs,”
