Juve player was rooting for Liverpool

Fabrizio Miccoli who is still half owned by Juventus, although currently plying his trade at Fiorentina has admitted to secretly hoping for a Liverpool win. In what seems like a case of sour grapes the tricky forward stated:

“Well I didn’t watch their game against Liverpool. I preferred to watch wrestling for four hours. But things went just as I hoped they would go.”

Miccoli parted company with Juventus last summer when coach Fabio Capello, decided he was not good enough for Juve.
