Inter Milan’s on loan star Juan Sebastian Veron has stated he still does not know what will happen once his loan deal is over. Inter have made it clear that they want him at the San Siro. And it would seem likely that Chelsea would sell, but the two clubs are rumoured to be poles apart in their valuations of the player:

"I don’t know what Inter’s plans are nor if Chelsea wan’t me back," he told Argentine radio station La Red.

"I’ll simply stay here until my contract expires and then analyse the options which are available for me."

"I want to return to Argentina in the near future," he continued. "But I don’t know whether that will be in June or next year. It depends on Inter and Chelsea.

"I would like to end my career at Estudiantes but before that, I would like to play for one of the big teams in Buenos Aires," added the 30-year-old.

"River Plate or maybe even a return to Boca Juniors? River have opened their doors to me, their President has been very clear about that.

"He wants me to play at River now or in the future and I am very thankful to him about that offer."
