Liverpool boost ahead of Juventus game

Liverpool will be boosted with the news that Jerzy Dudek will be fit enough to play in Tuesday's Champions League tie against Juventus, after missing the Bolton game. But Rafael Benitez is confident he will be back stating: "Jerzy picked up a problem when he was with his national team and we decided to protect him because we cannot afford to lose him for a run of games at this stage of the season.”

"He has had some problems kicking the ball so we decided to protect him. I will talk to him and the medical staff before Tuesday but I am confident he will be fit to play."
