Premiership watch as Davids refuses to play for In

Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona are all reportedly keeping an eye on the situation with Edgar Davids at Inter Milan. Corriere dello Sport reported has stated that things have gotten so bad that Davids trains on his own, refuses to travel with the rest of the squad, and when the team are in action, he has himself a day off.

They also report that Davids has went as far as asking Massimo Moratti to inform coach Roberto Mancini that he didn't want to be considered for selection for the rest of the season

He is currently earning around 2.5 million a season, and it’s almost certain he will be sold in the summer; it’s just his destination that remains cloudy. He was a massive hit in his brief spell with Barcelona, but has said recently that life in the Premiership appeals to him.

There is little doubting that Davids is a superb player when he is in the right frame of mind, exactly what it takes to make him happy is unclear, who ever does eventually buy him, and I am sure he will not be short of suitors, will have their work cut out, but should they manage that balancing act they will have a hell of a player.
