Milan to offer Chelsea swap for Crespo.

Milan are thinking of offering Georgian full-back Kakha Kaladze as part of a deal to keep Hernan Crespo at the San Siro, believing he could solve Chelsea’s left back problem and taking Crespo down to a fee Milan can afford to pay. There is little doubt that Milan want Crespo, but their valuation and Chelsea’s appear to be poles apart, so it is hoped that the inclusion on Kaladze will bring the two clubs closer together.

Milan have Marek Jankulovski lined up as a summer signing, so can easily afford to lose Kaladze.
